Founded in 2016, we are passionate about brewing world-class beer and creating welcoming neighborhood taprooms where great beer, exceptional hospitality, and community come together.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an energetic and hospitality-driven Taproom Manager to lead the daily operations of our flagship Lakewood location. Position Details

Location: Lakewood, Colorado
Position: Full-Time
This position combines Taproom Manager responsibilities with regularly scheduled Lead Bartender shifts. Candidates should expect to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other peak business hours.

Primary Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead the daily operations of the Lakewood taproom.
• Hire, train, coach, schedule, and develop taproom staff.
• Foster a positive team culture built on hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Work regular Lead Bartender shifts while leading by example.
• Coach employees on guest service, product knowledge, upselling, and achieving taproom goals.

Guest Experience & Operations

• Deliver exceptional guest service and build relationships with our guests and regular customers.
• Take ownership of the cleanliness, organization, maintenance, and overall appearance of the taproom.
• Maintain high standards for service, safety, and professionalism.
• Monitor key performance metrics including sales, labor, guest counts, average ticket, and Google Reviews.
• Identify opportunities to improve operations, increase sales, and enhance the guest experience.
• Manage taproom supplies, merchandise, POS operations, and cash handling.
• Clean and maintain the draft beer system.

Events & Marketing

• Plan, coordinate, and execute recurring taproom events and promotions while partnering with the Events Manager on larger annual  events,festivals, and community initiatives.
• Coordinate food truck scheduling and vendor relationships.
• Assist in social media marketing by providing photos, videos, event information, and other content to support the brewery's marketing efforts.
• Represent WestFax Brewing Company professionally at festivals, community events, and promotional activities.

Business Administration

• Create employee schedules and manage labor costs.
• Maintain accurate records and complete daily, weekly, and monthly operational tasks.
• Work closely with ownership to identify opportunities for growth, improve operational efficiency, and help achieve the taproom's sales and profitability goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of three years of management experience in the hospitality, restaurant, brewery, or service industry.
• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Organized self-starter with excellent follow-through.
• Ability to motivate, coach, and hold employees accountable.
• Passion for craft beer and hospitality.
• Willingness to continue learning about our brewery, products, and business.
• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for an entire shift.
• Able to lift, move, or slide full kegs when necessary.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Google Workspace, POS systems, and social media platforms.
• Cicerone Beer Server Certification is preferred but not required.
• Honest, dependable, and reliable.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Positive attitude with a team-first mentality.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time position that combines both Taproom Manager and Lead Bartender responsibilities. Approximately 50% of your time will be dedicated to management duties, with the remaining 50% spent working Lead Bartender shifts alongside the team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Compensation:
• Management Hours: $26.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience
• Lead Bartender Hours: $14.00–$15.00 per hour plus tips, based on experience
• Expected total annual compensation of approximately $65,000–$70,000, including hourly wages and estimated tips
